Assessment & Testing
My primary goals during a comprehensive psychological evaluation are to characterize the child’s strengths and identify any relevant diagnoses while delivering a report with individualized recommendations in an efficient manner. During a comprehensive evaluation I utilize evidence-based assessment procedures, and directly engage the child, parents, and authorized parties, in order to create a complete diagnostic picture of the child.

Presently, I primarily focus on autism evaluations, including the use of the ADOS-2 (a gold-standard instrument in autism assessment), as well as other standardized measures and clinical interviews. This type of evaluation is indicated for a child/adolescent/adult for whom autism is identified as a possibility. This evaluation also provides information to identify ADHD and mood difficulties. ​

The Early Childhood Behavioral Clinic
I am the Clinical Director of the Early Childhood Behavioral Clinic at Meghan Barlow & Associates. We focus on conducting autism assessments in children 6 and under, as well as identify other behavioral difficulties in young children, and assist parents in connecting with appropriate treatment providers to make progress.

I have completed the advanced training program for Early Start Denver Model. I have also completed training in the RUBI program to help parents learn to make changes to decrease challenging behaviors their children with autism may demonstrate. Currently, I am available remotely to consult with and coach parents of children with autism in making behavioral progress and changing behavior guided by these and other intervention types, via videoconferencing.
Consultation
I provide consultation to local schools, organizations, mental health agencies about autism, adhd, emotional difficulties, behavioral interventions, and strategies for success. Email or call to discuss how I might be able to help.
